Catherine Butterfly is an artist with Project Onward, a Chicago nonprofit organization that seeks to promote art as a powerful tool for understanding and valuing the real and potential contributions of our national population with disabilities. Born in Greenville, MS in 1952, Butterfly (neé Catherine Whitehead) has lived in Chicago since 1960. In addition to her prolific output of intuitive marker drawings (Butterfly says she has 2,000 works in storage) she pastors with Faith & Love Interracial House of Prayer. Dated 7/02/22
